HS

 

An acute bacterial disease of cattle and buffalo, usually occurs during monsoon with mortality rate as high as 80 %.

 

Common symptoms:

High temperature, salivation and severe edema of throat occur. Animal generally produces a grunting sound due to difficulty in breathing.
