INVITATION FOR BID

1. DESCRIPTION OF WORKS: The National Dairy Development Board, Noida, having its Head Office at Anand, on behalf of the Rohtak Milk Union invites sealed bids from interested bidders for the Rohtak Dairy Expansion Project for the construction and completion of the following work:
   
   Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical Substation
   
   
2. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Interested bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the National Dairy Development Board, at the address given below.
   
   
3. REQUEST FOR BIDDING DOCUMENT: A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by any interested bidder on the submission of a written application to the National Dairy Development Board and upon the payment of a non-refundable fee as detailed below.
   
   
4. Eligibility Criteria:
   For the purpose of this particular contract, bidders shall be meeting the following eligibility criteria as minimum:
   
   

   Name of work	Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical sub-station
   Turnover	Rs. 36 Lacs in each of the last 3 years
   Experience	One contract of Rs 48 Lacs for supply and installation of 11 KV elect. Sub-station in last 5 years.

   
   
5. BID DETAILS: Detailed terms and conditions as well as the technical specifications for all bids as indicated in the invitation to bid are contained in the single bidding document. Only one set of document shall be sold to one bidder.

6. PURCHASE OF BIDDING DOCUMENT: Bidders who desire to obtain bidding document in person by Demand Draft may do so on any working day from 14.00 hrs. to 16.00 hrs. only during the period of sale of bid documents as specified in clause 5.0 hereof. Demand Draft to be prepared in favour of National Dairy Development Board payable at NOIDA.
   
   
7. DOCUMENT BY POST:   For purchase of bidding document by post/courier, demand draft in favor of  National  Dairy Development Board of value equal to price of bidding document plus incidental charges, as specified in clause 4 (b) and 4 (c) hereof may be sent to the address of communication during the period of sale of bid document.  National Dairy Development Board, shall not take the responsibility for any delay in receipt of the bidding document, sent by post/courier.
   
   
8. Downloading the Document:
   
   (a) The bid documents will also be available in the website at http://www.nddb.org and can be downloaded and used as tender documents for submitting the offer. Separate remittance specified above shall have to be enclosed in the form of crossed demand draft, drawn in favour of National Dairy Development Board, payable at NOIDA, towards non-refundable cost of the tender documents. This is in addition to the earnest money and should be separately enclosed with the offer, on or before the due date for submission, otherwise the offer will be treated as invalid.
   
   (b) It is hereby brought to the notice of all bidders that if any change/additions/deletions/alterations are found to be made by them in the tender and the same is subsequently noticed at any stage, even after award of the contract, the bidders are liable for all consequences thereof and NDDB shall be free to take suitable action as deemed necessary.
   
   
9. BID SECURITY: All bids must be accompanied by a bid security separately for each tender in the acceptable form as specified in the bidding document and must be delivered to the address of communication as stated above on or before the last date and time of receipt of bids as given in clause 5.0 (f) above.
   
   
10. OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be opened in the presence of those bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend at the office of the National Dairy Development Board, at the address of communication.
    
    
11. BID VALIDITY: The Bid shall remain valid for acceptance for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening as mentioned above.
    
    
12. BID SECURITY VALIDITY: The bid security accompanying the bid shall be valid for 30 days beyond the bid validity period.
    
    
13. RIGHTS RESERVED BY NDDB: The National Dairy Development Board at its sole discretion and without assigning any reason thereof reserves the right to accept and / or reject any or all bids.
