Ephemeral fever (Three day sickness)

 

Ephemeral fever is a viral disease of cattle and buffalo.  It is an insect transmitted disease. It persists usually for 3 days.

 

Common symptoms:

Fever, nasal discharge, drooling of saliva, labored breathing, lameness etc.

Complete rest is most important during the illness.
